DISNEY, day 2

looking through these pictures, one thing comes to mind:  i wanna go back.  it was truly so much fun.  i think having one-on-one time with jackie was worth gold, but also, he's older, and it showed.  there wasn't much whining, even with all the waiting and walking and more waiting and more walking.  he was just as eager as we were to get to the next ride.

we're already daydreaming about bringing dylan once she turns five.  she's a crack up.  (and, so very smart.)  the entire time we were gone, my mom kept reiterating to her you'll get to go in two years, once you turn five so whenever we're watching a disney flick, she points to the castle (just as jb did for months leading up to his visit) and tells me i'm goin dere in two years!

disneyland.  oh my.  i was giddy and a little overwhelmed with emotion, at the same time.  i'm newly 32 years old, and yet, i couldn't help feeling completely moved by seeing the castle, holding my son's hand, glancing at my smiling-from-ear-to-ear husband.  i guess this place just gets you, you know?

of all the rides, dumbo was jack's favorite.  maybe because it's one of his favorite movies, or maybe it was being able to control his own dumbo (the up and down lever) or maybe it was the youtube videos we watched leading up to our vacation.  you never really know with jackie b...
