we can't travel anywhere without getting in some type of hike - my kiddos crave it!  we decided to climb a "mountain" in makena state park.  i asked half a dozen locals, and no one knew the name of this hike.

here it is from the road.  not as intense at the butte but similar with stunning views from the top.
