another glorious day at the zoo with wonderful girlfriends and cute kids. my dear old friend, lesia, is due to have her little girl (penelope) on tuesday... or at least she is hoping! we all know how "due dates" can come and go. i have been fortunate (ha!) to see both sides of that coin. jack came on his due date, and dylan came 13 days after hers. blah! i pray lesia not only doesn't go past her due date, but that she has a fast labor. she shared with me that her mother went (with all her babies) in under 4 hours (don't you just hate hearing that?!) so hopefully, lesia will follow her mother's lead. amen!
3 little heads, watching the wolverine
severe cuteness.

mmm, pb sammich
smooch!
so after leaving the zoo, unloading the stroller and loading children, i realized my sunglasses were nowhere to be found. nope, not on my head or my face (done that). not in the stroller or wadded up in a child's palm (happened before). if these would have been cheapy sunglasses from fred meyer or somethin, i would have called it a loss and been on my merry way. but no. oakleys. prescription. have. to. find. them. and find them i did. their state was not great, i'm not gonna lie. the frames were bent to sh_t. the lenses were popped out. i'm gonna say this was a hit and run. or maybe a hit and run over. poor things. i'd like to say a thank you to my son for modeling them.
i'd say the zoo was a success.
