this is the time of year that you live for in alaska. the days slowly creep into the early morning, as the sun seems to stay up well past its bedtime. (it's also when i break out my eye mask...) we trade in gloomy 30 degree afternoons for blue skies and the 60s. mittens and snow pants get tucked away while skirts, tanks and bandanas make their appearance. we love love love this time of year.

once benji got home from work, we headed down to the park. that's the other thing that happens when we get handed extra daylight - inevitably, bedtime gets pushed back. we didn't get back into the truck until after 8, but it made for easy bedtimes and hard sleepin babes.
