oh, what a relief. we're both 31, and it feels really great. the man and i are finally the same age again. i dread my birthday any more because i never hear the end of the cradle robber or old lady comments. whatta pill.
benji's birthday fell during the week, so unfortunately, we weren't able to have an all-day celebration. the kid's and i prepared for it all day though. jack helped me mix up some homemade brownies, along with spreading some chocolate frosting (as if they're not rich enough already...) and nothing can go without shakes and shakes of sprinkles, right? a homemade lasagna and garlic bread made for the perfect birthday dinner for the most perfect birthday boy.
