most of day 4, it rained. and, not normal hawai'i rain, but like, midwest-downpour rain. thunder and lightning. we watched from our lanai, praying for it to just pass on through. and you know what? it did...

papa frank and sue flew in this afternoon, just in time to watch the kiddos for us through the evening. ben's cousin blaine was getting married up in lahaina, and we were so thankful to enjoy the ceremony as ben and annie rather than mama and dada. whatta treat! i snapped photos the whole evening, and ben enjoyed beverages he wouldn't normally put away. (and, put away he did.) did you know this man can hula??? well, just you wait and see...
