do you see a pattern? it's just what we do. then we go "home," sleep for 3 hours and feast.
ahhh, vacation.
how do i love thee?!
on this day, ben earned a terrible sunburn. notice how red he already is, like, after an hour in the sun? and we stayed for close to 4. he spent an hour here and there, snorkeling around the nearby reefs. he wasn't aware that even in the water, you can fry like delicious bacon.
so besides exploring all the fishies in the water, we spent hours playing in the sand. burying our toes and legs; attempting to make sand castles before big baby (dylan) crumbles them down. and the best part is the clean up: a quick sprint in the ocean. and seeing each child's face light up when they're smacked with a wave - i really need to purchase a waterproof camera!

i always know when it's time to wash off in the ocean and start packing up our shovels and pails... when the kids retreat to our umbrella in search of a munchie. we like pringles and chex mix or pretzels and licorice. the islands also carry this pineapple/orange juice that is really mouth-watering. dylan picked right up on mama's favorite drink.
tomorrow is THE big day!
