the day following our return from minnesota was labor day - the last day of the fair. i really love our state fair. even though the kids and i had already gone, i knew it was important to go with dada. he gets into the rides and the carnival games, and i didn't want him to miss seeing the smiles on the kid's faces.
it was a chilly fall-like day, and the kids were more than happy to be clad in sweatshirts and jeans, with a slight chilly breeze on their faces. nothing like going from 90 degree weather to the 50s in one swoop! but, hey - they're alaskans, no doubt about it.
