our second play date consisted of meeting up with another girlfriend of mine, kendra, and her children about the same age; lidunn is 3 months younger than jack, but brynje is 3 weeks older than dylan! this foursome was quite cute together. i think lidunn was a little unsure of the painted-faced boy, but by the end of their time together, jb had her wrapped around his pinkie finger. and the babes? they were all about the three steps and the slide, perfect rhythm, completely in sync. one tot climbed the steps while the other slid down the slide, and around and around they went!
it was another scorcher of a day. alaskans and norwegians in the minnesota humidity and 80-90 degree weather??? there were some red faces on that playground, hey! thankfully, gramma d knew better (moms always know best) and brought along some sodas, juices and snacks. our time was short but so much fun while it lasted.
