because of the gorgeous weather, and the fact that ben had never been back there, we drove up to eklutna lake this morning. again, the weather was amazing - warmer than friday! so far, this fall is nicer than our summer. we met a nice couple from germany, visiting alaska for the first time. i love when people come to visit and alaska serves up this glorious weather. they were leaving for the park tomorrow, and i pray mckinley is out for them. if it's as nice up there as it is here, they will have the time of their life. we also ran into our friends lesley and matt and their little guy david. how great to run into familiar faces!
