bowling

we have only one day during the week that ben is at our disposal. so how did we choose to spend it? bowling. yep, stinky ol' north bowl with its psychedelic carpet, sweaty workers and rigid plastic chairs. thank God there was no smoking. i've only been in a few bowling alleys before, but i feel like if you've been in one, you've been in them all. but, you don't go bowling for the atmosphere, you go bowling to have a good time, hang out, and more importantly, laugh at how awful your family, friends or partner is such a silly sport.

ben is a surprisingly talented bowler but this was not reflected in sundays game. i'm a surprisingly horrendous bowler with ugly form. i like going to wear the funky shoes, to be honest. jack, well let's be honest, ben and i were assisting him in rolling the ball down the lane, and i usually did better helping him than i did on my own.

we played two games which was actually half a game too long. at this point, he was ready to play hide and seek and have us chase him. to my disappointment, my camera card was left on my dresser so the lousy pictures are from my phone. anything to capture the moment.
