is it too late to post these pictures? we had such a fun time carving this year. and when i say
we, i mean ben and i. jack was there briefly but because it's such a process, he quickly lost interest. however, he was
very into all the goop, scooping out the muck and hitting his spoon against the
pumps as he calls them. he loved the candles inside of them, seeing the glow of the faces. and every time we left the house, he would tell me all about the
pumps on the porch.

and halloween. we didn't really go trick-or-treating, mostly just driving to friend's homes to show off our piggy and monkey. jack made out like a bandit with the goodies. everything from the token smarties and tootsie rolls to the rare popcorn balls. i will admit that jackie only consumed a very minuscule amount of candy, but i will not say who consumed the most, only it wasn't ben or dilly...
