with jack at school, ali came over with her mama and grandma for a play date with dilly. her mama, samantha, and i used to work at the gym together. ali is a mere 12 days younger than dylan. we have great hopes for future play dates, watching our girls grow and learn right before our eyes. it's funny how babies basically the same age, can be at such different stages. ali is ready to crawl at any moment, and dylan is still happy to roll wherever she needs to go. ali does this amazing scoot on her back, arching up on her head and pushing off with her heels. she can definitely cover some ground! ali is sitting unassisted whereas dylan is still pretty wobbly, taking face plants regularly. ali is even comfortable up on all fours, looking as if she could push herself into the sitting position, and dylan is just recently pulling her knees underneath.
it's all so fun watching babies grow! it goes incredibly fast, and i love every moment of it. just when i think this is my favorite age, they do something else that captures me and sucks me in even more.
