oregon, part 2

we also spent some time in milwaukie, where ben's aunt lorrie resides.  we were invited for dinner, but jack had other plans that i wasn't made aware of until we arrived: no eating, strictly playing.  (and yet another natural wonder of children... want to do the task at hand, just not alone.)  so lorrie, bless her heart, and i took turns consuming yummy chinese food and playing little people with jack.  small side note:  a few months back, my mother brought to jack my old fisher price little people brown tudor house.  maybe you had one of these as a child?  i think i was more excited than jack when i saw her pull the thing from her suitcase.  since then, he has loved it just as i did.  so when we arrived at lorrie's, and she had the barn, house with tree fort AND the castle - i think jack's head exploded.  i know mine did.  i jumped on eBay to see if i could scoop one up... um, yeah... people are crazy-minded asking for what they are - but even more crazy are the people bidding.  sorry, jack miebs.  you'll just have to enjoy your simple house as i did!
