hmmm. who's idea was this? oh, yeah. mine. dylan, i love you an obscene amount, but girl, you are soooooooo tiresome at the river. between attempts to drown yourself in the moving water or wanting to hug the lumber which made up our fire, the river is no place for baby-you. this will be the scene of next june, where we'll be living it up at the river, not missing our baby girl of yesteryear. promise. we did have fun, even if it was short-lived. jack had a blast. and truthfully, as long as he's happy, we're all happy. it's so nice to have my sweet boy back.

the great thing about pictures is, they tell a different story. we've had many occasions were our ventures out have been horrendous, but you can't hear horrendous they have been! (think: san diego trip) here, dylan looks quite adorable, quite content to sit in her new disney princess chair and to play along side her big brother.
don't mind if i do!
(take note of the polish...)
i'm so blessed to call these beings mine
duey's dada is the best!
so, benji got some fishing in as well... ok, so maybe only, like, 10 minutes. what we've decided is that little miss dylan june would have much more fun at home with nana or grandma or anyone willing to play with her while we rendezvous to the river without her. would that be so bad?!
girls being girls
